Depop Fee Calculator

Depop's US seller commission is lighter than it used to be, but payment processing, boosts, buyer-paid shipping, tax processing impact, and cost of goods still decide your real payout, profit margin, and ROI.

Your numbers
Use 0 if you offer free shipping or pay shipping yourself.
Optional: processing may be charged on tax, but tax is not seller revenue.
Use your listing's boost rate, or 0 if the sale was not boosted.

Formula
How this Depop calculator works

For US sellers, this calculator uses Depop Payments processing at 3.3% plus $0.45, with optional tax in the processing base and an editable boosted listing percentage. Profit subtracts those fees plus your shipping, purchase, and other costs.

01
Calculate processing
Depop Payments processing is estimated from sale price, buyer-paid shipping, and optional sales tax collected at checkout.
02
Add boost cost
If the listing was boosted, add the boost percentage to see the real payout.
03
Measure ROI and break-even
A cute sale still has to beat your cost basis, postage, packaging, and the minimum price needed to avoid losing money.
Depop seller fees
Are Depop seller fees really 0%?

For US sellers, Depop removed the old marketplace selling commission on new listings, but that does not make every sale cost-free. You still need to model payment processing, boosted listing fees if the item sold through a boost, shipping labels, packaging, repairs, refunds, and your original purchase cost.

Fee
US payment processing
This calculator estimates Depop Payments at 3.3% plus $0.45 on the transaction amount so you can see expected net payout before cost of goods.
Tax
Sales tax is not profit
If Depop collects sales tax from the buyer, add it only to estimate processing drag. The calculator does not count tax as money you keep.
Boost
Optional promoted cost
If a boosted listing converts, enter the boost percentage shown in Depop for that listing. If the sale was organic, leave boosted listing at 0%.
Profit
Payout is not profit
True Depop profit subtracts cost of goods, your shipping cost, packaging, repairs, storage, and other resale expenses from the payout.

If you cross-list on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, or Whatnot, save each sale in stokd so one low-fee Depop win does not hide slow inventory, bad sourcing routes, or expenses from the rest of your resale business.
